New Spot Camera Metamorph Driver

February 4, 2010 - Spot Imaging Solutions is pleased to announce the release of the new Spot Metamorph driver, which enables the Spot cameras to be controlled through MDS-AT’s image analysis software: MetaVue, MetaFluor, and MetaMorph. The driver is compatible with Meta versions 7.6.5 and Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems.

The Meta software is a versatile imaging software package for customers whose imaging and quantitative needs are beyond the scope of the SPOT software that comes with the SPOT cameras. Meta software provides thresholding, deconvolution, cell counting, ratio imaging, colocalization, and stitching functions, and is available in different versions tailored to match specific applications. MetaFluor is a stand alone package for ion ratio imaging, intracellular calcium and FRET. MetaVue is an entry level package which can be upgraded to MetaMorph. MetaMorph is the ‘industry standard microscope automation and image analysis package.
