Olympus: BX61

Motorized Transmitted and Reflected Light Research Microscope
The Olympus BX61 is an excellent platform for automated inspection and analysis of microscopic details. All motorized components, including the control of the frame’s internal z drive focus (0.01 step), can be managed by our Discover software series. The BX61 utilizes the newly introduced UIS2 optics - an advanced design with specialized coatings yielding superior resolving power and enhanced performance across wavelengths ranging from UV-near IR.

BX61 TRF Features and Benefits:

Integrated motorized Z-focus with nm resolution
The BX 61 features an integrated ultra precise motorized focus drive with a resolution of 0.01micron and a maximum speed of 3mm/second.

Easy operation via handset or Discover Series Software
The ergonomic handswitch allows the easy control of all main functions - objective rotation, cube/turret movement, aperture diaphragm, FL shutter open/close, condenser rotation and top lens swing in/out.

Operation with your PC or laptop via Discover software allows complete control of the BX61’s functions. Window display of the microscope and its components gives the user total management of the system. In addition, Discover controls and records all microscope and image/data acquisition paramaters including history and statistics within a full bodied database.

Unrivaled real-time laser autofocus module
The optional laser autofocus system originally developed for high speed semiconductor inspection systems keeps the image perfectly in focus and follows every movement automatically.

Brilliant images with the NEW UIS2 objectives
Chromatically correct, high resolution eco-friendly lenses are the core of our microscope optical system which render unsurpassed images with maximum information content.
