Olympus and Visiopharm to Offer Comprehensive Quantitative Whole Slide Image Analysis and Stereology Training

CENTER VALLEY, Pa., January 30, 2012 – Olympus America Inc. is again offering comprehensive two-day and four-day Visiomorph/VisiomorphDP™ and newCAST training seminars in partnership with Visiopharm, the leading provider of advanced software for whole slide imaging and stereology. This is the second time Olympus has offered these intensive-learning programs designed for users of Visiopharm software. Participants can choose to attend either or both of the courses, which will be offered at Olympus America Inc. headquarters in Center Valley, Pa.

The courses and dates are:

• February 28-29, 2012: Visiomorph/VisiomorphDP Image Analysis

• March 1-2, 2012: newCAST Stereology

Students will enjoy a highly interactive course under the leadership of Visiopharm’s experienced staff. There will be time for lectures, workshops and open discussion. All instructional material will be provided and continental breakfast, lunch and snacks each day are included. Registration is $1,500 for either two-day course and $2,000 for the entire four-day course; any travel and lodging costs are extra.
