The EMBO Meeting offers a European forum for scientific exchange where participants are exposed to new perspectives from topics covering the entire range of the molecular life sciences, encouraging them to look beyond the boundaries of their own fields.
More than 120 researchers spoke at The EMBO Meeting 2011 and over 1,200 conference participants came from Europe and worldwide to the second annual life sciences conference to be organized by EMBO in Vienna from 10 to 13 September.
The EMBO Meeting 2012 intends to advance the life sciences through broad programmes reflecting the concepts and high-resolution approaches of modern biological research.
There will be three plenary lecture sessions which will be devoted to chromatin & chromosomes – the dynamic genome, RNA life – from birth to death and oxygen sensing, vasculogenesis and disease. Plus to complement these, there will be special lectures, 20 concurrent sessions, numerous sponsored symposia, industry exhibits, career forums and skill development workshops, networking events, prizes and award ceremonies.
